We are a general contractor located on the north end of the Kitsap Peninsula that specializes in new construction, additions, remodels, and maintenance. We are growing our company and seeking a highly motivated, full-time laborer to join our close-knit, fun-loving, highly skilled, and hard-working team.
We believe employees come first, and that by taking care of our employees, they will in turn take care of our clients.
We are willing to train the right person with no experience. Our ideal applicant will have a great attitude along with a strong desire to learn about the construction industry.
Qualifications & Responsibilities:
- Ability to learn techniques and follow through on directions precisely while paying attention to details.
- The ability to cooperate well within a team.
- Integrity to carry-out tasks independently and as instructed.
- Hard working, willing to put in effort.
- Able to work in ALL weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and be on feet for long periods of time.
- Excellent communication.
- Professionally interact with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Be reliable, highly motivated, honest and have exceptional pride in workmanship.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Valid WA driver’s license.
- Reliable transportation to work.
- The ability to pass a background check.
Job Tasks:
- Assist lead and other skilled crew members.
- Move construction materials to locations where they are needed.
- Setup and cleanup of construction sites, equipment, and facilities, ensuring a safe and organized environment.
- Break up rock, asphalt, or concrete.
- Dig holes or trenches.
- Learn and perform increasingly skilled construction tasks as necessary with each project.
- Protect structures or surfaces near work areas to avoid damage.
- Maintain construction tools or equipment.
- Follow established safety rules, regulations, maintain a safe and clean environment.
Benefits:
- Competitive compensation, dependent upon experience, $17 – $25hr.
