Our approach is not "you need to gut this." We'll help you make targeted decisions for your remodel, ensuring your budget will maximize its impact. Of course, if your space needs to be gutted, we'll help you make that call as well.

Additions are tricky in the sense that they need special care so they fit seamlessly with the current dwelling, and we are happy to help with ensure that for you.

What we can do for you:

Provide a Detailed Estimate

A good estimate takes time. Remodel & addition estimates often require 30-50hrs of our time to ensure prescriptive accuracy. A thoughtful estimate ensures an efficient project with fewer surprises.

We ask for 50% of the estimate fee up-front. We then go work developing plans, communicating with sub-contractors & vendors, and doing quality take-offs. Our detailed estimate will be presented to you with line items defining finishes and scope of work and include quotes from our sub-contractors & vendors, ensuring complete transparency.

If you decide to move forward with us, we'll enter into our Phase II contract together and the 2nd half of the estimate fee will be forgiven.

If you decide to not want to forward with Zufelt Construction Services, we'll simply ask for the remaining 2nd half of the estimate fee.

Planning & Permitting

Usually clients who want to remodel a space or add on to a dwelling have a pretty good idea of what they are looking for. We'll make sure any and all necessary drawings and permits are in-order so the value of your home, and the assurance of a job well done, will be guaranteed.

With in-house drafting capabilities, we can help engineers, vendors, and permit authorities get to a clear answer quickly, keeping your project moving along.

Design & Procurement

Our experience working with award-winning architects and interior designers means we are happy to assist with design challenges you might encounter. From space planning to color selection, and product procurement, we are able and happy to offer you assistance as needed. With that said, whenever we see something that calls for a special touch, we'll bring it up.

Construction

Our highly skilled crew and the Peninsula's best sub-contractors will work together to ensure your project is completed safely, efficiently, and with care. Our jobsites are clean and organized, which is helpful when you are living or working where construction is taking place.
