It's our desire to ensure the ZCS building process stands alone. Our method applies the best of large-scale commercial construction management to residential new construction projects.

How We Work:
The Estimate
We believe that an estimate is only as good as the time spent on it. Most New Construction estimates require 40-60hrs of our time to ensure they are accurate, down to the last nail. A quality estimate saves you money and ensures an efficient build. Because of the value we put on estimates, we account for our time in a mutually beneficial way.
We ask for 50% of the estimate fee up-front. We then go work developing plans, communicating with sub-contractors & vendors, and doing quantity take-offs. When we are finished, we will present you with a highly detailed and explanatory estimate. It will be broken down into 16 divisions with line items defining finishes and scope of work and include quotes from our sub-contractors & vendors.
Once we review the estimate with you, we have the opportunity to move forward and enter into our Phase II contract together - at which point the 2nd half of the estimate fee is forgiven.
If for whatever reason you decide you do not want to proceed with Zufelt Construction Services, then we simply ask for the remaining 2nd half of the estimate fee.
Pre-Construction Services
Whether you have a napkin drawing or blueprints, we’ll guide your through and manage the site planning, architectural & engineered drawings finalization, and permitting process. We have in-house drafting capabilities to speed and customize the process. With our attention to detail, we’ll help you with your layout, finishes, and the countless decisions you might not be aware of yet.Construction
With a combination of the best sub-contractors available and our crew, as soon as we have a permit we start your project and don't stop until it's completed. Our crew is always present, working in concert with sub-contractors and ensuring the safest, cleanest, most efficient flow for your project.Special Touches
Your new home is special. Because we are involved every step of the way, we’re able to make suggestions and bring unique elements to your project. Which of you likes the window open at night? That might determine the way the window slides. Do you have trees that need to be cut down that could turn into a banister, beam, or mantle? Perhaps you have an antique door, or family heirlooms that you'd like to put into service in some way?A Partnership
